Part Five in a series of articles on drycleaning treatments concentrates on stain removal following drycleaning and prior to pressing. Careful inspection of the garment is essential since some stains may be set by the steam during pressing, making their removal much more difficult. The use of a steam gun, oil and water based chemicals, or other tools is described. The drycleaner may try wet cleaning, but permission should be obtained from the customer.
