Two factors are driving market growth for FR work apparel: OSHA enforcement and recognition by industry that FR apparel is a safety tol that can increase productivity. Use of FR apparel has grown in the petrochemical, metals, electric, and gas industries. The dominant FR fabrics are Nomex and FR cotton. Businesses that use FR apparel must make three critical purchasing decisions.
