There has recently been an increased demand for the dyeing and finishing of fully fashioned garments. In this article the issues to be considered to ensure quality is maintained is garment processing are discussed including quality control for seams, elasticated areas, waist bands and cuffs, shrinkage, creasing, accessories, sewing thread, foreign substances, interlinings, and care labelling.
