Australian researchers have invented a chemical treatment for clothing material so that it can provide protection from from the sun. A two-part molecule has been developed: one prt absorbs the sun's ultra-violet while the second reacts with the fabric, making the molecule and the fibre 'become as one'. The chemical has been named Rayosun.
