Details are given of Vektron polyester fabrics which are designed to ve used in the production of workwear for the clean-rooms of electronics and pharmaceutical plants. Four different versions (two in plain weave and two in twill weave) are available. The fabrics ae antistatic, which is achieved by encapsulating conductive characteristics do not degrade progressively and the garments are comfortable becaused they do not cling, but maintain free air flow between the wearer and the garment. As the fabrics are also abrasion-resistant and resistant to shrinking, they can withstand frequent laundering and drycleaning.
