Rimoldi's recent inhouse exhibition attracted visitors from all apparel manufacturing sectors. New sewing, cutting, and spreading machines, and devices and attachments were on display. Notable displays included the Flexsystem modular manufacturing system, which comprises the Fenix cylinder bed equipment, Vega overlock and safety stitch equipment, and Sirio flat bed equipment. The Flexsystem was designed to facilitate flexible manufacturing and quick response times. Other equipment on display included the UAN 2841 for attaching pockets to T-shirts and polo shirts; the UR F2-020/AM machine for hemming T-shirt sleeves; the PL GX-1000/B1-2000M sewing station for simultaneously sewing elastic on both leg openings; the new PL GL3034/A1-C20M workstation for attaching continuous elastic to the waist of open garments; and the new 368-00-2MD-20/146-XB for attaching pocket facing to the pocket lining during jeans manufacturing.
