The basis of a new shoulder-pad and interlining range, called Padloft, is a helically crimped Dacron polyester fibre which has superior resilience, according to Bonded Fibre Fabric of Bridgewater, UK. The material is a polyester/viscose blend bonded with an acrylic resin, described as a well randomised non-cross-laid web.
