In Aachen, Germany, the Research Institute for Rationalization na the Institute of Textile technology collaborated to develop quality control feedback circuits for the textile industry. Critical parameters were the structure and types of operations and the flow of information related to these operations. The research identified four different types of organizations based on these parameters. The quality control feedback circuits developed for these organization s consisted of both internally and externally linked circuits. 1 ref.
