Opportunities for foreign investors in the Indonesian textile and apparel industry are discussed, in the context of Indonesian policies on international trade and economic development. Indonesian legislation allowing the setting up of foreign investment companies is explained, and statistics on direct investment approvals, particularly in the textile industry, are tabulated.
