The Sankei Corporation, based in Osaka, recently introduced its Limit Cutter, a cutting machine for heavy weight tent, tarpaulin, curtain, and carpet fabrics of up to 3 millimeters in thickness. After unrolling the fabric, the Limit Cutter employs a round knife in the machine direction and a slit knife in the cross direction. The Limit Cutter includes an auxiliary point marking device that is manually activated. Sankei provides two version: the Model LCT-D210A, which cuts rolled fabric of up to 2100 millimeters in width.
