Tajima Industries Limited, based in Nagoya, recently unveiled the TMEX-C901 microprocessor controlled cap embroidery machine. A high precision stepping motor and a frame driven head mechanism facilitate stitching speeds of up to 1,200 rpm with negligible noise and vibration. The TMEX-C901 can be equipped with the ML-50 auxiliary monogramming and lettering device. Standard features include an automatic needle bar selector with 99 colors, an independent takeup mechanism that facilitates trimming, and a satin stitch expansion device that widens satin stitches from 0.1 to 1.0 millimeter (provided that the stitch density does not exceed 1.0 millimeter). The microprocessor of the TMEX-C901 accommodates real time mirroring, rotating, and scaling operations.
