Yamato Sewing Machine Manufacturing Company, based in Osaka, recently introduced the NB3000 series of microprocessor controlled button sewing machines for tailored apparel. The NB3000 series accommodates flat, shank, and marble wrapped buttons with maximum outer diameter sizes of 32 millimeters. Both units in the series, the NB3000 and NB3100, are equipped with the EW auxiliary device for sewing butonns on double breasted jackets without penetrating the suit lining. In a ddition, the NB3100 contains an automatic button loader.
