A suede-like synthetic leather is claimed which comprises fibre bundles and an elastomeric polymer. The fibre bundles consist of fine fibres having a diameter of 0.02-0.2 denier and microfine fibres having a diameter of ＜0.02 denier. The ratio of fine to microfine fibres is specified. The substrate has a nap on its surface and is dyed. The fine/microfine fibre ratio in the fibre bundles constiuting the nap is also given. IPC D06N.
