Improving the wear resistance of wire card clothing

A method of improving the wear resistance of metallic (wire) card clothing is described. The equipment comprises an electromagnetic pulse generator and a magnetic field inductor. The structure of the metal is examined by X-ray analysis. It is shown that the wear resistnace of card clothing treaed in a magnetic field is increased 3-4 times.
