study of work clothes' microbial contamination and permeability

microorganism-protective work clothes should be considered one of the most important elements determining the general culture of the production process, the health state of the staff and the technical and economic level of enterprises. in order to improve the quality of special protective clothes, the microbial contamination of overalls was studied in industrial premises with different levels of air bacterial contamination. under laboratory conditions the microorganism permeability of 15 articles of cotton cloth used for clothes weaving was also determined. proceeding from these complex studies, recommendations on the use of fiber in microorganism-protective overalls manufacture are presented.
