during the discussion of cleaning procedures in tetrachlorethers electrical forces have to be taken into consideration, as demonstrated in part i of this paper. in this section the relationships were investigated between the deposition of rust and iron oxide on cotton, polyester and wool, dependent on the water content of the liquor, ionogenity and concentration of cleaning booster, on the one hand and the measured electrophoretic flexibility of the pigments on the other. significant variations in behavior were demonstrated, depending on the tenside systems, according to whether both partners of the combination behave in a hydrophilic resp. hydrophobe manner, or the one in a hydrophilic manner and the other in a hydrophobe manner. an interpretation is being attempted during which initially oriented investigations of the zeta potentials of filzes were taken into account. 9 refs. in german
