Hong Kong - based skirt maker TAL Apparel Ltd, has patented Pucker Free seam technology, a new seam-sealing technology. It involves inserting a bonding tape between adjoining fabric panels that make up the seam, which is melted during the manufacturing process. The resultant garment does not need to be dry cleaned or ironed and starched after washing.
