Light-colored garments with dark yokes often experience dye migration during cleaning as a result of the manufacturer's using dyes that are not colorfast to drycleaning solvents. Although recleaning might rectify the problem, most bleeding damage is permanent and is the responsibility of the manufacturer; therefore, such garments should be tested before care labels are affixed.
