This article describes protective undergarments that can also be used as swimwear. The garment is made by weaving or laminating a leakproof and breathable material into a woven or nonwoven fabric. Each seam is sealed to prevent leakage and ensure breathability. The garment can be made in a wide range of sizes, styles and colours. The garment can also be used as a feminine care product. However in this article it is stated the garment should be used as a close-fitting secondary garment worn over existing protection.
