The combination of drafting methods and alteration methods provide the MICROFIT system with accuracy and flexibility to cover all branches of MTM clothing production plus the ability to grade all standard sizes for these garments. Layouts and plot files are automatically made om NICROFT by utilising a unique set of positioning and orentation rules for each garment type. Generally this automarking is efficient but the operative has the possibility of making modifications to any layout through the interactive mode. MICROFIT can be interfaced with many different types of digitizers, plotters and cutters. GTCO or CalComp digitizers are recommended but not essential. Similarly, CalComp sheet or roll plotters are recommended for pattern production or folded (75cm) cloth markers, while the Gerber Accuplot 2 metre wide plotter is preferred for open width cloth markers. MICROFIT is a low cost, high performance PC based MTM system which is not matched elsewhere.
