The Envitec and A+A trade fairs have been combined and held in May 2001 to promote the sector of work and protective clothing. The exhibits included fibres, fabrics, work clothing, personal protective finishes, corporate fashion and dress hire services. With protective clothing, both the outer layers and the underwear underneath must meet stringent wear and comfort requirements and provide optimum freedom of movement. The latest developments include antibacterial finishes, UV-Protective clothing, and heat-, wind- and weather-resistant garments which have to be comfortable and able to meet international standards.
