Penn Nyla, UK and Noble Fiber Technologies, US are working together to produce a range of innovative sportswear fabrics. The US company’s X-Static nylon fiber contains silver ions permanently bonded to the fibers surface and is clamied to be antimicrobial, thermoregulating, antistatic and therapeutic. Penn Nyla is developing a range of fabrics suitable for linings, base layer garments and Lycra products, as well as working with a number of lingerie brands.
