PIV Electronics of Scunthorpe recently introduced its Posituft control system to help carpet manufacturers more accurately control yarn and fabric feed rates. According to the United Kingdom based company, the Posituft control system enhances the consistency of amchine made dimensional measurements, so much so that extremely precise specifications can be perfectly reproduced from one production run to another. PIV Electronics claims that the Posituft control system can be retrofitted to most existing tufting machines on site.
