Jaskol Attributes this growth to quality control and right first time production. Investment in product development in 1992 was $4.7 million. For the biomedical sector, filtration systems include cardiotom reservoirs, transfusion filters, leukocyte filters, drainage filters, and exygen systems. For the environmental sector, the company manufactures filters imjpregnate with active carbon for water and air filtration. The industrial engineering sector uses coolant filters made of hydraulically formed or needled nonwovens. The automotive sector uses filters to keep dirt out of fuel and gear oil. Lydall's Lytherm asbestos-free filters withstand operating temperatures of as high as 2000 degree Fahrenheit.
