Unusual fabrics were the focus of the International Home Furnishing Market (IHFM). Swavelle/Mill Creek displayed its Kodiak pattern, a Far Eastern inspired patchwork featuring jewel tones and metallic accents. Craftex's black and white diamond chair covering was accompanied by a black and whie damask sofa covering. At Hickory Chair, a popular pattern was a yellow cotton velvet damask from Malden Mills. Anju/Woodbridge, Toronto and Townsend, and P/Kaufman displayed printedjacquard fabrics. Joan Fabrics's thick scale chenille stripe Linear was a big hit. Other popular, unusual pattens included Barrow's trompe I'oeil bookcase motif and Bloomcraft's Scuba Duba fish motif.
