A disposable mask which has been designed to provide protection from toxic dusts and fibres and which also guards against solid and water-based aerosols has been introduced by UK company Cabot Safety Ltd. The 1082 particulate respirator can be used with concentrations of contaminants up to ten times greater than recognized Occupational Exposure Limits.
