Electronic Materials Incorporated recently introudced Emcast 1721, the laterst addition to its 1700 series of UV courable eposxy adhesives. The 1700 series consists of 14 UV curable epoxy adhesives that vary in flexibility and viscosity, ranging from rigid thixotrpic pastes with high galss transiton temperatures to soft, flowable liquids. The 1700 series cures quickly under UV wavelengths of 365 nanometers. Emcast 1721 provides high peel strength for flexible substrates o neoprens, elastomeric polyurethanes, or converntiona rubber. According to the company, Emcast 1721 works well with polycarbonate sheeting material.
