Barmag offers a variety of equipment for the production of manmade fibers and yarns. The one step extrusion and drawing lines are suitable for manufacturing polyester nylon, and other industrial yarns for use in tries, air bags, safety belts, and tarpaulins. The production speed of the one step process, which depends on the raw material and the potential yarn application, ranges from 2,500 to 4,000 meters per minute. Machine design, including the configuration of the spinnerets and polymer filters, optimizes flow conditions, pressures, and viscosities for either polyethylene terephthalate or nylon polymers. The crossflow quenching system is adjustable. Drawing units can be arranged in one or two decks. The Craft winder series produces high quality yarn packages and permits stable, fully automated package transfer.
