ENVIRONMENAL RECYCLING SUGGESTS ALTERNATE METHOD

The Kansas City area is served by an unusual company, Environmental Recycling Services (ERS), which hauls away post-consumer carpet directly from either resident or commercial buildings. ERS claims the used carpet on the same day that new carpet is installed. For sanitary reasons, old carpets are not hauled away in the same vehicle that delivers new carpets. This unique service saves installers hours of valuable time, and saves retailers the space and additional dumpsters that are required when used carpets are returned to the store before recycling.
