Permall Gloucester produces glass fiber composites for use as insulating joints on the shunting tracks of the Docklands Light Railway. The composities are fitted to either side of the running rails to ensure rigidity and electrical insulation. The Comp E2 joints will be made using a combination of woven and unidirectional nonwoven glass reinforcement in an epoxy resin matrix.
