kraft cellulose insulating materials and other products such as cotton cellulose and noncellulosic aramid fibre pressboard are tested and evaluated under conditions encountered in power transformers. new insulating boards made of cellulosic and noncellulosic fibre base are presented. their performance is studied. the report deals with the physical properties of these products with emphasis on their aging behaviour at increased temperatures, as well as under combined thermal and electrical stress in open and sealed systems. influencing parameters such as oxygen and water are examined
