two types of magnetic devices for sorting and cleaning of materials in the fabrication of ceramic and porcelain products are described based on resistive and superconducting principle, respectively. the resistance separator employs a rotationally symmetrical magnetic circuit with series connected coils and a three-phase bridge solid-state power supply with liquid cooling. the superconducting separator employs a coil with ni-ti conductors and is placed in a cryostat with cooling up to 4.2k. the three-phase bridge power supply consists of 12 thyristors
