the author tests the guis teller fax 207 image processing terminal, which is not only a facsimile transceiver but also a scanner, printer and copier. the 207 needs an ibm pc/xt/at and ms-dos 2.0 or ms-windows, costs 5000 dm, scans with a resolution of 200 dpi horizontally and 100-400 dpi vertically, sends at 4800 baud and uses special thermal paper. the author selects aspects to discuss, e.g. the editing software for scanning, and faxing procedures. he linked the 4-in-1 idea and the low price but disliked the scanty documentation and lack of compatibility
