a pascal listing is given which produces a contour map in eight grey levels on a c itoh 8510 printer. a function of two variables (x and y) is entered in function tone. the resulting z is graphed as a variable darkness. the ranges of x and y are specified in the respective input statements as is the number of print columns desired. the range of z is computed automatically. a row of dots is printed on the screen to indicate that the program hasn't died. you can produce a silkscreen stencil by removing the ribbon from the printer and allowing the printer to poke holes
