c.m. woolley in boreham wood imports and distributes kitchen- and sanitaryware to specialist shops and builders merchants. the company uses an alphamicro computer with 12 terminals and five printers to run its accounts and to keep track of stock. woolley is enthusiastic about the benefits the computer system has brought from the 200-300 pieces of information the stock control software holds on each item it can produce a stock valuation in five minutes a full stock ledger print-out which used to take a week to complete, can now be produced in three-quarters of an hour. future plans include making full use of the word processing features of its folio software and using the system to send telex messages
