using the knowledge received from literatures/reports and the own experiences different manufacturing steps like thin-sheet processing, forming, surface treatment, plating, brazing or other bonding techniques and the application of the destructive and nondestructive quality inspection have been examined. the result of these investigations shows, that all conventional working procedures can be applied under the consideration of the special material properties even in the beryllium technique, but the positive results achieved in laboratory scale have to be developed and proved for each individual case for a solid technique application. this refers e.g. to the forming of large sheets and especially the brazing of bigger, complex structures.
