this bibliography contains citations concerning the effect of silanes on promoting the adhesion of polymers to a variety of surfaces. silanes added to pigments, fillers, extenders, and composites are discussed. adhesion between polymers and glass, fibers, metals, and rubbers are examined. chemical bonding and the mechanism of adhesion that occurs in adhesives containing silanes are described.
