Norton Limited, a British fabric supplier, has established itself as Great Britain's leading supplier of mohair teddy bear fabrics. The mohair/wool and pure mohair fabrics are intended for the luxury market. Lower cost bears are manufactured from imported plush fabrics, primarily accrylic fabrics, originating in South Korea or Taiwan. Norton Limited makes a range of fabrics for the toy trade, including distressed, antiqued, curled pile, and custom dyed fabrics. About 60 percent of Norton's production is exported to Germany, Belgium, Spain, australia, and Canada.
