The effect of coefficient of friction upon the silk knitting property (Chinese)

The effects of the silk friction coefficient of silk upon the loop-forming process of latch needle knitting machines are analysed in this article. The silk was given three types of pretreatments and the quality of the knitted fabrics produced was analysed. The friction coefficient was found to be a main factor in the silk knitting process.
