this paper deals with methods of fabricating composite membranes consisting of an inorganic support and an organic top layer. there are two main methods of fabricating such membranes -- namely, by physisorption of the organic compound or by chemical surface modification of the inorganic supports. using these two methods, it is possible to design an unlimited variety of semipermeable membranes with an inorganic support
