A test to verify the durability and performance of parts, equipment, or other items when used, transported, or stored at high temperatures.
Low-Temperature Testing
A test to verify the durability and performance of parts, equipment, or other items when used, transported, or stored at low temperatures.
Temperature and Humidity Testing
A test to evaluate durability and performance by exposing products to controlled temperature and humidity conditions, including cycling tests.
Thermal Shock Testing

Salt Spray Test
A test used to evaluate corrosion resistance by exposing a product to temperature, humidity, and salt.
Results are determined by factors such as the time until the first signs of corrosion, changes in mass, the appearance of corrosion products, and the condition of the product after corrosion removal.
Cyclic Salt Spray Test
A method of evaluating corrosion resistance by combining salt spray, humidity, and drying conditions to simulate an environment similar to real-world usage.
Gas Corrosion Test
A test that evaluates corrosion resistance by exposing products to various gas environments
Testable gas factors include H₂S, SO₂, NO₂, and Cl₂.

Appearance Analysis
Analyzes solder joints in electronic products visible under a microscope, checking for solder defects, component cracks or fractures, minimum electrical clearance violations, and contamination.
Cross-Section Analysis
After environmental reliability testing, cross-section sample preparation is performed to inspect product degradation. Cracks in solder joints are analyzed using SEM equipment.
X-Ray CT
A method for analyzing electronic products and PCB assemblies by transmitting X-rays through the sample and applying imaging technology. This allows non-destructive detection of internal defects.
SEM
An electron microscope that scans the sample surface with electrons and forms images using the resulting electron signals. Analysis is conducted in SE or BSE mode depending on sample properties.
Using an EDS detector, X-rays emitted from the sample surface can be detected to qualitatively analyze foreign substances and elemental composition.
Cleanliness Analysis
Foreign substances inside and outside the product are collected using a cleaning solution, and their weight and size are analyzed to determine whether they meet specified cleanliness criteria.

Dust Test
This test evaluates the ability of parts and products to protect against dust and solid particle ingress from the external environment.
Tests for IP1X to IP4X are conducted using test probes, while tests for IP5X to IP6X are conducted inside a dust test chamber.
Water Spray Test
This test evaluates the protective ability of products against harmful effects caused by water dripping, spraying, or jetting onto the test item.
This test evaluates the protective ability of products against harmful effects caused by water penetration during temporary or continuous immersion.
IPX7 is a test for temporary immersion at depths of 0.15 m to 1 m and IPX8 is a test for continuous immersion.

Specimen Fatigue Test
Durability can be verified or service life predicted by applying repeated loads to a material until failure occurs.
Component Fatigue Test
Durability can be evaluated under conditions similar to actual usage by simultaneously applying axial and multiaxial loads to automotive parts and systems.
Vibration Test
A test to verify durability and performance of a product under vibration conditions (sine, random, SOR, ROR).
Combined Environment Durability Test
A test to verify durability and performance of a product under combined conditions of vibration (sine, random, SOR, ROR) and temperature/humidity.
Shock Test
A test to verify durability and performance of a product under mechanical shock conditions
It assesses whether the product operates normally under drops, impacts, and other transient vibrations that may occur in actual usage environments.

Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT)
HALT is performed during the product design and verification stages by applying combined stresses to the product in order to detect design weaknesses and potential failure modes.
Through this test, vulnerable areas of the product can be quickly identified and improved, enabling robust design and enhanced reliability.
Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST)
HAST is an environmental test method designed to rapidly evaluate the moisture-related reliability of electronic components and products.
HAST accelerates potential failure mechanisms that may occur due to moisture when products operate or are stored in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, thereby predicting product lifespan.
Unlike conventional humidity tests (e.g., 85°C/85% RH), HAST uses much harsher conditions, significantly reducing the required test time.
