Du Pont's fall 1995 Intimate Apparel Workshop featured activewear fibers, light weight shapewear, and a continuing emphasis on ready to wear styles. The workshop opened with a video presentation that placed innerwear into three categories. Eco/Trend mixed natural fabrics with metallic styles inspired by technology. Body Chemistry highlighted activewear fibers, such as CoolMax nylon with Lycra spandex and Supplex nylon with Lycra. Travelers focused on multicultural messages and the ready to wear theme. Improtant colors introduced at the workshop included matte neutrals combined with dull shine silver, gold, and copper. Patterns were important as well, featuring two color laces, embroidered laces, and large, cutout lace patterns.
