4,4' - Dihydroxybiphenyl and ethylester of an omega-bromo alkyl-carboxylic acid were used to prepare a series of new acryclic dichlorides. The chlorides were condensed using terephthalic dihydrazide. The resulting poly(ether-alkyl)hyudrazides(PEHZ) were characterized by inherent viscoxity, elemental analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, theirmogravimetric analysis, and WAXS experiments. 13 refs.
