Dressing up is often conducted in a layered manner. People would like various combinations of garments to be tried to reach maximum satisfaction. To simulate this behavior, we propose here a method for dressing up an avatar with multi-layered virtual garments. The intersection among layered garments was located via Axis Aligned Bounding Box (AABB) accelerated detection, and the penetrations among garment layers were rectified by forcing the intersected area in one party to move towards the correct side along the shape of the other party. The results of our simulation suggested this method to be an efficient and fast way of tackling multi- layered dressing.
