Jumberca, a Spanish circular knitting machine manufacturer, is recovering from its financial difficulties incurred when the world market collapsed in 1991-1992. The firm sold almost 300 machines in 30 markets during the first seven onths of 1993. The company is restructuring to establish a tougher and more pragmatic financial policy to reduce its debt. It has closely examined its labor costs and overseas operations. The range of machines offered by Jumberca has not changed. Priority has been given to fabric development activities.
