Swavelle/Mill Creek will introduce a new line of woven fabrics. The line includes approximately 40 patterns totaling 125 to 130 SKUs. The patterns will be mostly tapestries and damasks and will range in price from $6.95 to $19.95 per yard. The company, which started in the 48 inch drapery busines and entered the 54 inch print business three years ago, hopes this new line will provide opportunities for other aspects of its buisness, enabling it to grow in certain fileds, such as furniture. The company also announced the hiring of Tom Solomin as vice president and Diane Laubi as design director to head up the new effort in woven fabrics.
