The University of Manchester's Scotweave range of dobby and jacquard computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing software has been expanded since its introduction at ITMA 1991. The expansion is based largely on feedback from users. Scotweave now has color graphics capabilities with a high level of accuracy. The software generates CIE coordinates to identify each color shade, and reflcetance curves with a 16 point reference for color matching in the dyeing laboratory.
