AB Kelva's fabric cleaner is capable of the noncontact removal of dust, fibers, or particles from both sides of a fabric. The cleaner removes more than 90 percent of this type of contamination, which contributes significantly to improved product quality. The cleaner comprises a patented cleaning lead and a fan and filter unit connected by rigid pipes or flexible hoses. The fan and filter unit generate an air flow that cleans the fabric by pressure or vacuum. An antistatic discharger ensures that the fabric surface remains free of particles. The cleaning head comprises an upper and lower section between which the fabric passes. The cleaners operate at fabric speeds of up to 2,500 meters per minute and are available in widths of up to 5,000 millimeters.
