BCF yarns are mainly produced in a one-step process from granules to finished package. All required production steps are combined into a single process. Requirements, in addition to the production machine itself, are the type of raw material most suited to the process, pigmentation, as well as operating and process know-how. The most frequently used raw materials are polypropylene and nylon 6 and 6.6 and, most recently, also polybutene terephthalate, and polyester. The modular design of the line components makes it possible for Barmag to offer its customers a large variety of line models tailored to specific customer requirements. The program includes vertical and horizontal STM machine configurations for one-color and multicolor lines for cost-effective production coupled with great versatility, ease of operaion, and extremely low space and energy requirements.
