At ITMA 1995, manufacturers exhibited equipment for weaving preparation, including automatic drawing-in, tying, dropper pinning, leasing, reaching-in, and quick style change systems. Automatic drawing-in machines help manufacturers enhance production efficiency with multistyle production, smaller lots, and shorter delivery times. Manufacturers producing fabrics with the same design often use a tying machine when exchanging beams. Most manufacturers are using quick style change to reduce downtime and labor and increase productivity. A profile of new machines offered at ITMA 1995 includes exhibits by Staubil, EL&&M of Italy, Reed-Chatwood, Todo, Titan, Knotex GmbH, Fischer Poege, Kolomna-TEKMASH, Landauer Dornier, Jakob Muller, Picanol, Somet, ICBT, Tsudakoma, Vamatex, and Toyoda.
